I watch as the water of life steadily flows
From out these venial passages to
A heart now desolate of humanity,
a suffering mind no longer content;
Pour forth in a stream!
onward to create a well of youth
Where life is procured
When this water is transferred
to one who knows the meaning of hope.

I was tempted to put this in parody for every bland and angsty poem out there of this nature.
